HOTEL CALIFORNIA "A Salute to the Eagles" was founded with the intent of filling the void left by the demise of The Eagles in 1982. By blending their extraordinary vocal and musical talents, HOTEL CALIFORNIA faithfully and accurately reproduces the sound of the Eagles studio recordings while recreating a classic sound which undeniably transcends the boundaries of Rock, R&B, and Country while delivering a modern, action packed performance that brings this timeless music into the new millennium.

This band, comprised of five respected, multi-talented top music industry professionals, presents a dynamic exciting show saluting the music of The Eagles, a supergroup whose music has proven to have a staying power that few bands lay claim to. Finally, audiences can once again experience the energy and magic of this timeless music.

The group performs 150 - 200 high profile events every year, including special corporate functions, charity benefits, fund raisers, outdoor concerts, festivals, and fairs, playing main stages receiving top billing as a national act, as well as opening for some of the most prominent names in the entertainment industry. Each concert presents an exciting showcase of The Eagles mega-hits such as “Take it Easy”, “Heartache Tonight”, and “Hotel California” as well as newer releases “Get Over It” and “Love will Keep Us Alive”. BANDMEMBERS

Dicky
Vocals, Mandolin, Pedal steel, Harmonicas, and Lead, Rhythm, Slide, Acoustic, Electric guitars

Groups such as Boston and Van Halen have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with this talented musician. Among his many credits are several major motion pictures. A true veteran in the industry, Dicky-Lee has toured extensively and recorded in some of the finest studios in the world. Always powerful and exciting, the element of fun never escapes this intuitive performer.

 

Wade
Vocals, Keyboards, Acoustic Guitars, Percussion

From early childhood Wade possessed a fascination for music and singing. He began performing by participating in school and church choirs. At the age of 23 his musical career took off as the lead vocalist for the original band Croox. Throughout the '80s and '90s, Wade performed up and down the Pacific Coast at all the major night clubs. He opened for such legends as Huey Lewis and the News and WAR. He also performed for many bay area radio stations including KOME and KSJO.

Phil
Drums, Percussion, Assorted Grunts and Attitude

Phil has done everything from clubs to major label recording and touring. He has been signed to five major labels, signing his first recording contract at age 17. He recorded two CD's with the legendary prog band Mastedon and has also done Movie Sound tracks including the 80's classic, St Elmo's Fire.
Phil has studied with some of the top drum teachers in the industry and held a long term endorsement deal with the Ludwig Drum Co. He is now a new endorser for the Peace Drum Co. Scott
Vocals, Bass

Scott has shared stage time with such notables as War, The Commodores, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Wayne Cochran, and The Diamonds. His early career highlights include RCA Recording Artist ìGypsyî, and producing the ìBreakheart Pass Bandî. Scott studied music at Moorhead State University, is a software engineer and a degreed tax accountant. His entrepreneurial skills have driven his product The Band Leader to worldwide success. He resides in Nevada and is the first called for many of the groups performing on the world famous Las Vegas strip.

Steve
Vocals, Banjo, Lead, Rhythm, Acoustic, Double neck, and 12 String Guitars

Steve credits the inventor of the accordion for his eventual inspiration and desperate need to take up guitar at age ten. (No offense-beautiful instrument, it is!) His six-string career started with his first public playing and singing performance in Sister Mary Jolene's sixth grade class, pounding out "If I Had a Hammer" for his excited fellow classmates. Wow, what a rush! Ever since that pivotal day, there was no turning back.
Born and raised in Downey, California (Musical birthplace of the Carpenters), Steve has performed at numerous coffee houses, concerts, and recording sessions. He has opened for the Little River Band, Dave Mason, Randy Meisner (Eagles), Kenny Rankin, Richie Furay, and 38 Special. He also is an accomplished songwriter.
