A
sweet, personable, possibly gawky girl. Impressionable, and by turns optimistic
and depressed, she grows in confidence as the play concludes. She probably wears
a ponytail.

A
tough cookie. Larger than life, brassy red head with a sharp tongue and a heart
of gold. Flashy dresser. Probably in a sexy top, capris and high heels.

Perky
and overly enthusiastic, eternal optimist. Fairly manic cross between Sandra
Dee and "That Girl". Means well but is liable to wreak havoc at any
given time. A big flip hair-do. Typically 60's pointy bra (at one point is referred
to as "bullet bra"). Should have a lovely, slightly dressy, very well
put-together look (a well dressed Connie Francis).
