THE SWING SISTERS Show is a wonderful Tribute to the most Beloved and Revered sister acts of our time the fantastic ANDREWS SISTERS, Patti, Maxene and Laverne. From the time they started recording their first song Bei Mer Bist du Schon in 1937, they were known as “America’s Wartime Sweethearts” and today their songs of patriotism, homecoming, separation and comedy are still loved and remembered. THE SWING SISTERS perform these songs just as they were so many years ago in their action packed, fun-filled audience participation show. Whether THE SWING SISTERS are performing in their dazzling Patriotic Red, White and Blue Stars and Strips costumes, army uniforms or glitzy camouflage outfits, THE SWING SISTERS wow the audiences and make them part of the show by taking them back in time with them as they sing some of those memorable songs such as Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree (with anyone else but me), Rum and Coca Cola, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and many, many more.
As an added bonus, THE SWING SISTERS surprise their audience with a second tribute to yet another wonderful sister act, THE McGUIRE SISTERS, Phyllis, Dorothy and Christine. During this incredible fast-pasted medley of hit after hit, THE SWING SISTERS will bring someone from the audience up on stage with them and make them part of the show. The audiences love this and the lucky participant always leaves the stage with a big smile on their face. These three ladies headed by Dawn Carr have been performing for over 15 years both Nationally and Internationally and can work with a 10 to 14 piece big band using their own charts or perform with their own orchestra recorded studio tracks.
